We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - CSW Team in Cardiff. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to families, helping them navigate challenges and improve their quality of life.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans that promote positive outcomes. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including schools, health services, and community organizations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence as required.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales or equivalent regulatory body. Proven experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
