Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work team focusing on Children in Need (CIN) and Children in Care (CIC) in Nottingham. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to support vulnerable children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.
As a Qualified Social Worker in our CIN/CIC team, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing appropriate care plans. Working collaboratively with other professionals, including schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations. Conducting home visits and maintaining accurate records of assessments and interventions. Providing support and guidance to children and families, empowering them to make positive changes. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA or MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
