Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Oxfordshire, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable children and their families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively within a supportive environment, managing a diverse caseload and ensuring the well-being and safety of children in care. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, facilitating positive outcomes for children and young people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to foster carers, ensuring they have the tools needed to nurture and protect children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a children’s social work setting, particularly with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals.
