Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Join our Birth to Settled Team in Dorset as a Qualified Social Worker. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide support and guidance, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the unique needs of children and families. Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to implement interventions and support services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Providing advice, support, and training to foster carers and adoptive families. Engaging with children and families to build trusting relationships and empower them in decision-making processes.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups. Proficient in assessment and care planning processes.
