Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Sefton, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and improving the lives of children and families in our community. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for our most vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all interactions and interventions. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive change and well-being. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be considered for this position, you must possess a relevant social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent), and be registered with Social Work England. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to child-centered practice. Experience in child protection and assessment work is essential, along with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks.
