Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's SW - A&I Team in Lewisham. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, providing support, and ensuring their well-being in a safe and nurturing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with local authority policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
