As a Children’s Social Worker in the Adoption Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of prospective adoptive families to ensure suitability. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children and families throughout the adoption process. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to develop and implement adoption plans. Facilitating training and workshops for adoptive parents to prepare them for their new roles. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and adoption services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
