Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Adoption Team in Bolton, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate Qualified Social Worker to provide high-quality assessments, support, and intervention for children in need of adoption. Your expertise will help ensure that every child finds a loving and supportive forever home.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate smooth adoption processes. Providing emotional and practical support to children and adoptive families throughout the adoption journey. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. Participating in court proceedings and representing the best interests of children in legal matters.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in adoption or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
