Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? The Locality Team of the London Borough of Sutton is seeking a dedicated Children’s Social Worker (SSW) to join our dynamic team. As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families to develop appropriate intervention plans. Conducting regular visits to families and children to monitor progress and provide support. Collaborating with other professionals, including schools, health services, and community organizations, to ensure holistic care. Preparing reports and documentation for court proceedings and child protection conferences. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
