We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Family Support Team in Rochdale. As a Children's SSW, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Monitoring progress and reviewing care plans regularly to ensure the best outcomes for children. Collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to create a network of support.To excel in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
