We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children and Families (C&F) Team in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks, developing effective intervention plans. Building and maintaining trusting relationships with children and their families, offering support and guidance throughout the social work process. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources for families. Advocating for children's rights and best interests in various settings, including court proceedings when necessary. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities.
