We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Access and Referral Team in Cheshire West. This role is pivotal in ensuring the welfare and safety of children and young people within our community. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, providing timely interventions, and collaborating with other professionals to deliver high-quality support services.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and stakeholders. Managing a caseload effectively while ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings to promote the best interests of children. Providing guidance and support to families, empowering them to make positive changes.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in access and referral processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle a diverse caseload.
