Join our dedicated team in Derbyshire as a Children’s ASW - CIN/Court Team member, where you will play a pivotal role in making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing assessments, and delivering interventions tailored to the unique needs of children in care and those at risk. Your expertise will ensure that children’s voices are heard and their best interests are prioritized in all court proceedings.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective care plans. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children. Representing the local authority in court, preparing reports and documentation as required. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children’s social work, particularly in Child in Need and court work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
