Join our dedicated Children's AP - Safeguarding Team in Liverpool, where your expertise in social work can make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. We are seeking a passionate and committed Qualified Social Worker to provide essential support and safeguarding measures to ensure the well-being of children in our community. This role requires a proactive approach to safeguarding, working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to create a safe environment for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans to support children and families in need. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate case documentation. Working closely with multi-agency teams to implement effective safeguarding strategies. Providing advice, support, and training to families and professionals regarding child protection issues. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when required.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
