Join our dedicated Children's AP - Safeguarding Children's Team in Bolton, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, implementing safeguarding plans, and working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to provide the best outcomes for those in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans tailored to individual circumstances. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Engaging with children, families, and professionals to promote effective communication and collaboration. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's safeguarding and child protection. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
