As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for assessing needs, providing support, and ensuring that children are protected from harm. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and safeguarding investigations to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children and families. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach. Managing a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Participating in duty cover, responding to urgent referrals, and providing immediate support.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in a duty or assessment role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
