Join our dedicated Children’s Assessment and Duty Team in Bury as a Qualified Social Worker and make a difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to assess needs, manage cases, and provide essential support to vulnerable children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders regarding best practices in child welfare.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social work, particularly in assessment and duty roles. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex cases.
