We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s AP - CWD Team based in NE33 2RL. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and safeguarding of children with disabilities and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to promoting positive outcomes for children, working collaboratively with families and professionals to deliver high-quality social work services.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure effective service delivery and support. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Participating in team meetings and case reviews to share insights and improve service provision. Providing expert advice and guidance to families regarding available resources and support services.Essential qualifications and skills required for this role include:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
