Join our dedicated team in Lincolnshire as a Child Protection Advanced Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. In this pivotal position, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and various agencies to ensure the best outcomes for those in need of protection and support. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing risk, developing comprehensive care plans, and implementing interventions that promote the safety and well-being of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and reviewing child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Providing guidance and support to less experienced social workers, fostering a culture of learning and development. Representing the organization at child protection conferences and court hearings. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with organizational policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work/CQSW/CSS or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong analytical and assessment skills with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working effectively within a team.
