Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and reviewing child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Providing guidance and support to less experienced social workers, fostering a culture of learning and development. Representing the organization at child protection conferences and court hearings. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with organizational policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work/CQSW/CSS or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong analytical and assessment skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
