Join our dedicated team at CAFCASS in Chelmsford (Essex) as a Qualified Social Worker in the FCA Public & Private - WAFH Team. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to contribute to our mission of supporting children and families through challenging times. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing tailored care plans for children and families. Working closely with local authorities, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families in both public and private law matters. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and family law. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with families and professionals.
