Join our dedicated CAFCASS Work To First Hearing team in a hybrid role that allows you to make a significant impact in the Care sector. We are seeking a passionate and qualified professional to work with families and children involved in family court proceedings. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely with just two days in the office each month, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while you contribute to meaningful outcomes for children and families.

As a member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to provide insights and recommendations for court hearings. Collaborating with legal professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information. Preparing detailed reports outlining findings and proposed actions for the court. Attending court hearings and presenting evidence and assessments when required. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with CAFCASS guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body. Experience working within the family court system or related fields. Strong analytical and report-writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
