We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Birmingham - SP - Family Help/Children in Need Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing needs, providing support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans to support families and promote child welfare. Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and community organizations to coordinate services. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
