We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join our Out-of-Hours (OOH) team in Warrington. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises outside of regular working hours. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate care and support they need during these critical times.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting mental health assessments in the community, including emergency situations. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Providing guidance and support to service users and their families. Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice. Documenting assessments and interventions accurately and promptly.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified AMHP with current registration with a relevant professional body. Strong knowledge of mental health legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure. Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
