Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker with a strong background in care proceedings? We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a newly established Court Team in Jersey as part of a 12-month pilot focused on delivering high-quality, child-centred care planning and leading complex legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a complex caseload of children subject to care proceedingsLead cases from issue through to conclusion and implementation of care plansComplete robust assessments, safeguarding interventions and care planningPrepare high-quality court statements and reportsProvide expert evidence within legal proceedingsWork closely with children, families and multi-agency professionalsChampion trauma-informed and strengths-based practiceRequirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registrationMinimum 5 years' post-qualified experience within Children's ServicesSignificant experience within care proceedings and court workStrong assessment, report writing and care planning skillsKnowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory practiceFull UK driving licenceEnhanced DBSWhat's on Offer?
