The East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding adults at risk and promoting their wellbeing through effective intervention and support.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and risks, ensuring that safeguarding principles are upheld. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate safeguarding investigations and ensure appropriate action is taken. Providing advice and support to individuals, families, and carers, empowering them to make informed decisions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills. The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a caseload with competing priorities.
