We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Birmingham, specializing in adult safeguarding. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and ensuring their safety and well-being. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess and manage risks, providing high-quality support and interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding support. Developing and implementing tailored care plans to address individual needs. Collaborating with external agencies, families, and other professionals to ensure effective safeguarding measures are in place. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in safeguarding meetings and providing expert advice on best practices.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding or related fields. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a thorough understanding of safeguarding legislation.
