The London Borough of Sutton is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults experiencing mental health challenges. As part of our dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals to provide high-quality support and interventions that promote independence and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users' needs and developing tailored care plans. Providing ongoing support and intervention in line with best practices and statutory requirements. Collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and family members to ensure holistic care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with local and national policies. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance service delivery and professional development.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in adult social work, specifically within mental health settings. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a person-centered approach.
