We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Learning Disability (LD) Team in Dudley. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of adults with learning disabilities. Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing ongoing support and advocacy to ensure individuals receive appropriate services and resources. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or similar client groups. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centered practice.Additional requirements for this position include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
