Brighton is seeking a dedicated and passionate Adult's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Safeguarding Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing needs, implementing safeguarding procedures, and collaborating with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to individuals in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of individuals’ needs and risks to develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the effective delivery of safeguarding interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in line with local authority policies. Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions. Participating in case reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of safeguarding practices.To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding, including knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
