Swindon Borough Council is seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic and dedicated Children with Disabilities Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking service committed to safeguarding and empowering disabled children and young people.

🔹 About the Role:

As part of Swindon's Disabled Children's Safeguarding and Support Team, you'll work in a co-located, multi-agency setting at the Saltway Centre. Our team delivers holistic, child-centred services, recognising that disabled children are at greater risk of abuse and require tailored, specialist support.

In this role, you'll:

Carry a caseload of children and young people with disabilities

Undertake safeguarding assessments, reviews, and plans

Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure effective support

Champion best practice and advocate for the rights and wellbeing of disabled children

As a Family Court Adviser, you will play a critical role in Private Law proceedings, working directly with children and families where the court is asked to assist in resolving disputes around contact and living arrangements. Your responsibilities will include:
