Job description

We are recruiting for a Team Manager with excellent leadership and motivational skills to nurture and manage our existing team of Social Workers.

Our next Team Manager will also have strong supervisory and management skills and a wish to make a difference in a collaborative environment. The role is based in Yorkshire and Humberside and starts on 13/07/2020.

Accountable for the practice of social workers within the team, the successful applicant will take professional responsibility for the provision of a high quality response service.

Candidates must hold significant experience in social work practices and show consistency and commitment in improving outcomes for adults.

The successful applicant will be required to effectively determine priorities, assess need and ensure the safeguarding of adults whilst guiding their team through any practice concerns they might have.

They should also be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory framework.

This is a highly rewarding role with a talented and hard-working team and will suit someone with an energetic and enthusiastic nature who has a passion for doing things differently.

Good knowledge of statutory legislation and practice standards is essential.

To apply you must hold a BA/BSc/MA in Social Work (or equivalent) and be Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered and have significant previous experience in a social work role.
