  • Qualified Childrens Social Worker / Social Work Professional required to join an Assessment team

  • You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration as well as relevant experience to be considered
  • Salary: £35,000 - £39,500 + £5,000 market supplement + £10,000 welcome payment + £10,000 relocation + Local Government Pension + 31 days holiday & addition to buy more + payment of professional development fees

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.

Working within the Assessment Team, you will work directly with children and families, alongside other staff within the Directorate and partner agencies. Ensuring referrals are responded to in a child focused and timely way, you will carry out assessments and investigate concerns so that a decision can be made regarding the most appropriate support for the child and family.

Minimum of 2 years experience in statutory social care. With honed skills in assessment, report writing, and managing a complex caseload, you will be dedicated to improving the lives of children and families within the area.
