We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Wolverhampton Child Protection/Children in Need Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need of support and intervention.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews Providing direct support and guidance to children and families in crisis situationsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Experience working within a Child Protection/Children in Need Team Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex casesAdditional requirements or benefits:
