We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support vulnerable children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions that promote positive outcomes for children and families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
