We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Trafford - QSW - Cared for Children team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding children who are in care, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to provide holistic support Attending court hearings and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the children Providing emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to children and young people Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
