Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing and supporting kinship placements, ensuring they meet the needs of the child. Conducting thorough assessments of potential kinship carers to evaluate their suitability. Providing ongoing support and guidance to kinship families, facilitating training and resources. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to develop comprehensive care plans. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and fostering, particularly with kinship care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to family dynamics. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
