As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting foster families, ensuring that children receive the nurturing environment they deserve. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers. Developing and implementing tailored support plans for children and foster families. Monitoring and reviewing placements to ensure the well-being of children. Providing training and support to foster carers, enhancing their skills and confidence. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to advocate for children’s needs.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's services, particularly in fostering or adoption. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
