Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Staffordshire as a Social Worker in the Duty Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for responding to referrals, assessing needs, and providing support to children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and investigations in line with statutory guidelines. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate records and case documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in a duty or assessment role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
