As a Pre Birth Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify risks and support needs. Developing and implementing tailored support plans for expectant parents. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, midwives, and other agencies to ensure holistic support. Providing guidance and emotional support to families throughout the pregnancy. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with local policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection or family support, particularly in pre-birth assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Proficient in report writing and case management systems.
