We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families, working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those in need. The position offers a competitive rate of £39 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role and the expertise required.

As a Qualified Social Worker in the MASH team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and evaluations of children and families to identify needs and risks. Collaborating with partner agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans. Providing expert advice and support to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local and national regulations. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working in a safeguarding or MASH environment is highly desirable. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
