We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our First Response Team in Nottingham City. This vital role involves working with individuals and families in crisis, providing immediate support and intervention to ensure their safety and well-being. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of those in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting initial assessments and evaluating the needs of children and families in crisis situations. Developing and implementing intervention plans to address identified risks and support families effectively. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and law enforcement, to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local and national guidelines. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them access necessary resources and services.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and families. Excellent assessment and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Additional requirements include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
