We are currently seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join our Long Term Team in Newcastle. As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans to support children and their families. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding within a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
