As a Children's Social Worker in the D&A Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families. Working closely with children, parents, and other professionals to provide support and guidance. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Providing advice and support to foster carers and adoptive families.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly within a safeguarding context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
