We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Herefordshire on a permanent basis. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of vulnerable children and families to ensure they receive the support and services they require.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and protective factors Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Experience working in a similar role within a statutory social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment
