In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for vulnerable individuals and families seeking support, ensuring their needs are assessed promptly and effectively. Your work will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments of referrals and identifying risks and needs. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement appropriate action plans. Providing advice, information, and support to families and individuals in crisis. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislative and organizational standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
