As a member of our dynamic team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans to address the needs of children and families affected by substance misuse. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to promote the welfare of children and ensure effective service delivery. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies and procedures. Participating in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in child welfare and substance misuse.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in the context of substance misuse. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with children and families. Excellent analytical skills for effective assessment and intervention planning.
