Join our Family Safeguarding Team in Blackpool as a Children’s Social Worker. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to safeguard children, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes. Your expertise will be vital in delivering high-quality assessments, interventions, and support to children and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to address specific needs. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
