The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults in our community. As a part of our dynamic team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality support and intervention to vulnerable adults, ensuring their needs are met effectively and compassionately.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting thorough assessments of adult service users to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Working closely with partner agencies to facilitate integrated support services. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders regarding safeguarding practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within adult social care, particularly in safeguarding and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups. Proficient in case management systems and documentation.
