Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Wokingham as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to individuals facing complex challenges. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding adults at risk, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments and reviews of adult service users to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support for individuals. Providing guidance and support to colleagues and less experienced staff within the team. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and working with vulnerable adults. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with service users and stakeholders.
