We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner in Adult Safeguarding to join our team in Somerset. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable adults, conducting assessments, and providing support to individuals in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Lead complex safeguarding investigations and assessments Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with service users and their families Provide expert advice and support to social work colleagues Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate interventions are in place Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to case conferencesEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in adult safeguarding Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and policies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex casesIn addition to the essential qualifications and skills, the ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to promoting the well-being and rights of vulnerable adults.
